We are back for our second year of proudly hosting Yom Kippur Services right here in our Bel Air Crest community. Last year’s gathering was a beautiful testament to the strength, unity, and spirit of our neighborhood — and this year, we look forward to coming together once again for prayer, reflection, and connection.
Led by Rabbi Jack Melul, our services offer an inspiring and meaningful way to observe the holiest day of the Jewish year without leaving the comfort and warmth of our own community. Whether you joined us last year or will be attending for the first time, we welcome you and your family to be part of this special tradition in Bel Air Crest.
About Rabbi Jack Melul
Rabbi Jack Melul
Born in Manchester UK, Rabbi Jack Melul spent over 10 years studying in the top Rabbinic Training Academies in the world. He received Semicha from the Rabbinical Supreme court in Israel, as well as Beit Medrash Darchei horaah Lerabanim of the late chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu zt”l in 2012. An entertaining speaker, Moroccan cantor, and a spiritual coach Rabbi Jack is a founding Director of AishLIT – Young Professionals Los Angeles together with his wife Shira. Helping create a powerful revolution for young professionals and grad students. His passion brought him from the UK to The University Oregon to become the founder of Akiva on Campus. Giving daily lectures on and off campus on topics ranging from the daily Talmud to Jewish philosophy.
